Process operator training by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) should be considered a critical element of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance. For decades, the technical expertise of ERCO’s Technical Services Team has provided mill operators with the process knowledge required to run their R-Series ClO₂ plant efficiently and safely.

Through ERCO’s training, many customers have gained considerable process knowledge and have developed programs for operator training and testing. ERCO is uniquely qualified to provide periodic independent training based on current design and control standards, and checking operator understanding of the required process knowledge for any of the technology that we provide.

ERCO provides full operator training, refresher operator training, maintenance training and instrumentation training for all R-Series ClO₂ processes.

Our Technical Services Team tailors the training materials to align with your site’s equipment and operating conditions. The interactive training sessions have structured sections that cover the basics of ClO₂ chemistry, process design, and unstructured training periods designed to work with operators to explore their operational challenges, guiding them to identify the root-causes of operational challenges and issues.

Our experienced and qualified trainers conduct testing on the material covered in the training session, and will provide records for the mill’s learning management system.
